프로이드가 1890년대 정신분석을 창시한 이래, 한국은 1980년대에 정신분석 운동이 시작되었습니다. 정신분석은 인간의 마음 속의 숨은 의미를 찾아서, 한 사람이 참다운 자신의 삶을 만들어가는 길을 함께하는 과정입니다.
현대 정신분석 학술원은 대한민국 최초의 정신건강의학과 전문의를 위한 정신분석가 수련과정입니다. 대한민국의 독자적인, 정신과 전문의를 위한 정신분석가 수련 과정을 시작하고 발전시켜 나가는 것은, 현실적으로도, 역사적으로도 매우 중요합니다.
이 새로운 정신분석가 수련은 기존의 수직적 훈련방식은 지양하고, 수평적이며 상호협력적인 훈련과정이 될 수 있도록 설계되었습니다. 그리하여 Candidate(정신분석가 후보자) 각자가 정신분석가로서 주체적, 자율적으로 성장할 수 있는 환경을 마련하는데 가장 중요한 가치를 둡니다. 또한 한국의 정신건강의학과 전문의의 특수성을 고려하며, 정신분석가 수련을 위한 시간적, 경제적 비용을 모든 면에서 현실적이고 합리적 수준이 되도록 하였습니다.
현대정신분석 학술원은 2022년 4월 19일 정신분석가 훈련과정을 시작하여 현재 분석가 후보생들이 수련중에 있습니다.

Since Freud pioneered psychoanalysis in the 1890s, the psychoanalytic movement in Korea began in the 1980s.
Psychoanalysis is a process of exploring the hidden meanings within the human mind and accompanying individuals on the journey of creating a more authentic life.
Academy of Contemporary Psychoanalysis, ACP is the first psychoanalytic training program designed specifically for psychiatrists in South Korea. Initiating and developing a unique psychoanalytic training program for psychiatric specialists in Korea is both pragmatically and historically significant.
This new form of psychoanalytic training avoids the traditional vertical approach and instead emphasizes a horizontal and collaborative training process. The most important value is to create an environment where each candidate, as a psychoanalyst in training, can autonomously and actively grow. Furthermore, considering the distinctive nature of Korean psychiatrists, the time and financial costs associated with psychoanalytic training have been made realistic and reasonable in every aspect.
ACP began its psychoanalytic training program on April 19, 2022, and currently has candidate analysts in training.
